Quality Learning Environments project (QLE)

  • Sample size:57 Schools, 114 school director interviews, 684 teacher FGDs, 684 community member FGDs, 1710 individual student tests, 684 student FGDs, and 114 class observations
  • Operation:2 Project Mangers, 6 Supervisors, 6 moderators, 12 interviewers, 14 recruiters, 2 QC indoors.
  • Responsible:Manage overall data collection and focus group descussion using tablet (CAPI).

Carried out baseline study “Quality Learning Environments Expansion” project in 7 provinces where the QLE Expansion Project is being implemented. The baseline aims to conduct a rapid baseline assessment of 57 primary schools participating in the QLE Expansion project funded by NORAD. The project has 13 higher order outcomes whose achievement will be determined based on findings with regards to 34 discrete performance indicators. The data provided will be expressed in a way to facilitate easy comparisons with end-line data so that determinations of project impact can be straight-forward and informative.
